The right solution for any sound-proof insulation problem

How can you be sure that Australian Plaster Acoustics has the right solution for your sound-proof insulation requirements?

  • You may live in a house on a busy street with high traffic, even at night.
  • What if your office is in the middle of an industrial zone where machines are constantly making noise?
  • In a conference centre, people holding a meeting in one conference room shouldn't be able to hear what is said in an adjacent space.

Australian Plaster Acoustics offer sound-proof insulation solutions for new constructions and acoustic treatments for existing buildings. We have successfully retrofitted many buildings and our products have been extensively tested during their development and design phase.

Testing the noise reduction coefficient and acoustic properties

Australian Plaster Acoustics only use NATA accredited, laboratories from Australia or New Zealand to carry out our research and testing. Acoustic tests for Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) were carried out either by RMIT University of Melbourne or CSIRO Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Infrastructure Technologies Acoustics Testing Laboratory, Victoria. Acoustic tests for Ceiling Attenuation Class (CAC) were carried out by Acoustic Laboratories Australia Pty Ltd

At Australian Plaster Acoustics, we are proud of the know-how we've accumulated throughout the years. It allows us to manufacture and continuously improve our high-quality products.

Tip: Acoustic design will achieve its optimum and most cost effective potential when it is considered early in concept or masterplanning stage. The sooner an acoustic engineer is engaged, the higher your chances of avoiding costly retrofit solutions.*
